Closing Keynote

The Indiana LinuxFest organizers are pleased to announce that Ian Murdock will be the closing keynote speaker for the 2013 Indiana LinuxFest.

Murdock has held a variety of roles in the FOSS community.  In 1993, he founded the Debian Project which he lead until 1996.   In 2000, he founded Progeny Linux Systems, a commercial Linux company.  In 2005 he left Progeny to become CTO of the Free Standards Group, a precursor to the Linux Foundation.  In 2007 he joined Sun Microsystems where he served as Vice President of Emerging Platforms.  He is current Vice President of Platform and Developer Community at ExactTarget in Indianapolis.
